I hereby certify that the player is medically fit to participate and I agree that, without prejudice to the rights at common law of the designated parties, I indemnify Brooklyn Hockey Club, NBHA, Hockey Company Tshwane, SAHA or any of it’s workers for any loss, liability, damage or expense which the player might suffer as a result of or which may be attributable to any act and/or omission of one or more of the designated parties and/or as a result of any injury at the sport, even if caused by perceived negligence.

Brooklyn Hockey Club has a non-negotiating rule regarding player conduct.
Each of you must sign the Code of Conduct.
It basically comes down to GOOD MANNERS regarding your team mates, opponents, umpires (especially), tech table, coaches and managers.
The HOCKEY RULE is easy: if the umpire shows ⬅, you play in that direction and vice versa ➡
DO NOT engage with trying to change his/her mind OR call them anything inapropriate and demeaning, it is NOT acceptable and coaches WILL be under strict rule to take players off field if this happens.
Should you suspect that an umpire has a wrong interpretation of a rule you may bring it under management’s attention who can take it up with the umpire manager (Andre Kachelhoffer).
The same is expected of our spectators – be courteous at all times. For more insight into the rules please familiarise yourself:
